The Morgan is one of the earliest horse breeds developed in the United States.
Tracing back to the stallion Figure, later named Justin Morgan after his best-known owner, the breed excels in many disciplines, and is known for its versatility.
The Morgan horse is compact and refined in build, with strong limbs, an expressive face, large eyes, well-defined withers, laid back shoulders and a well arched neck and a clean cut head.
There is officially one Breed Standard for Morgan type regardless of the discipline or bloodline of the individual horse.

Whatever your discipline or interest we can offer help and advice in an ideal learning environment. From experienced horses and riders to youngsters in hand, the Clinic is suitable for everyone. We have lessons, demonstrations, talks and competitions or you can make a bonnet, decorate your horse and yourself and join us for the traditional stylish ride/ drive up Monnington Walk on Easter Sunday.

Cost
Cost for participant with horse for four days is £220
Youth participants: £180 for four days.
Daily participant rate is £60 / Youth £45
Stabling and bedding for the clinic is available at £20 per night
Spectators are welcome at no cost
Meals
Free tea and coffee will be available all day in the Butt House
Lunch: Vals’ Amazing Creations @ £7.00 per person

Electric Hook Up
There are a very limited number of hook up spaces available on the yards at Monnington. If you require hook up these need to be booked directly, on a first come first served basis with Trudy: admin@morganhorse.org.uk . Please note payment will be required to secure your booking. The cost is £40 for the duration of the clinic or £10 per day
