His sire, Equinox Rock Star, is sired by White Rock's Caliopy who is also the sire of World Champion driving sensation of the past, the great Opie's Boy. Rocky's grand dam is a full sister to the champion sire, Equinox Heir of Courage. His dam is by Equinox Challenge and is out of the World Champion producing cross of Courage of Equinox on Equinox Benn Adam daughters that many a Morgan farm has been founded upon. Quail Run Cicada, by Tedwin Topic, produced the World Champion lack mare WBC Midnight Madness, who in turn produced the World Champion black beauty, Star Of Midnight.
Rock Of Ages is bred similarly to my beautiful Charlestown Bluemoon. His dam, Equinox Madamoiselle, was the golden Courage/Benn Adam cross. His sire, Charlestown Scotland, by Elm Hill Charter Oak, is also Rocky's grandsire. "Blue" has also sired many black, beautiful Morgans who reside in the loving homes of their grateful owners. His youngest son, He Is Victorious In Blue, is the 2022 World Champion Open Western Pleasure horse and winner of the Grand National Champion Western Pleasure Stallions as well. A unanimous show for a beautiful representative of how this great line produces year after year.
